Detailed review of Binance
Binance is the world's most popular platform for cryptocurrency operations. The exchange was founded in 2017; within 180 days of launch it became the most visited crypto platform — a status it has kept for over five years.
Founder — Changpeng Zhao (Changpeng Zhao), native of China's Jiangsu province. In the global crypto community he is known as CZ (from his initials).
Key features: daily trading volume over $11.5B; over 90 million registered users; 350+ cryptocurrencies and 1450+ trading pairs; four types of trading and mining pool; native BNB token; asset custody guarantee; low fees (spot 0.1%). The platform is available in over 200 countries, including France, Italy, Poland, Ukraine, Turkey. Languages: English, French, Ukrainian, Turkish and others. Fiat: UAH, USD, EUR, TRY. Spot, futures (leverage up to 125x), staking, P2P, Launchpad available. Registration by email or phone; verification required. Minimum deposit from 100 UAH. Top-up via Monobank, Privat24, Visa/MasterCard, AdvCash; card withdrawal available. Support — online chat; bonuses and promo codes (e.g. $100 for registration), loyalty program.
The Binance ecosystem includes the exchange, BNB blockchain, its own decentralized wallet, research center and crypto trading Academy. There is a charity fund.
Binance in Ukraine: the interface supports Ukrainian; operations in hryvnia are available — top-up and withdrawal to Ukrainian bank cards. Binance Academy materials are translated into Ukrainian; the charity fund supports those affected by the war and has issued a crypto card for refugees. Users from Ukraine make up a significant share of Binance clients in Eastern Europe.
Security: two-factor authentication, account connection monitoring on different devices, anti-phishing in mailings, insurance fund for deposits. The SAFU guarantee fund is funded from part of fees (10%); in case of an incident the exchange commits to returning lost assets. In 2019, after a major breach, management returned stolen funds to users.
Official website: simple intuitive interface — top panel has "Buy crypto", "Markets", "Trade", "Derivatives", "Earn", "Finance", "NFT". Left menu — converter, Launchpad, Binance Academy, Trust Wallet, etc.; right — language, currency, theme (light/dark), online chat icon.
Binance Academy is one of the most comprehensive trading guides for beginners: about 300 articles (blockchain, trading, DeFi, NFT), Ukrainian translation available. Learn to Earn: for completing tests you can receive crypto rewards (e.g. ~0.1 USDT per test). Registration in the Academy and a verified account are required.
The mobile app for Android and iOS fully replicates the website: converter, four types of trading, crypto purchase with fiat, investment tools. In the app you can register, complete verification, set up notifications and 2FA, use API. Download from Play Store and App Store.

Remember that investing in cryptocurrencies involves high risk. Every day some investors lose their funds due to high market volatility, and traders incur losses from using high-risk trading tools such as futures and leverage.
Price volatility may lead to loss of invested funds. Margin and futures trading carry increased risks and may result in significant losses.
